Surfacescape is a New York-based non-profit art organization that creates accessible interactive art shows in collaboration with emerging artists. Each show centers on a pressing social issue, inviting the public into an immersive, story-driven experience. We aim to connect young talent to the professional industry while expanding public engagement with the art world by making it fun and affordable.
We believe that great art fosters and supports younger artists to engage, challenge, and question existing structures. However, we noticed that most creative works by young adults remain unseen by the public. The current art world, dominated by the elite, expends opportunities and platforms for young artists. Our art exhibition aims to break the existing borders, allowing underrepresented artists to produce works that the public can access.
